I first met Tyler in the fall of 2020. I was spending some time at a local coffee shop to catch up on schoolwork and spend some time in the word, when he came over and introduced himself as Boomy! We spent the next two hours talking about his recent move to Fayetteville, our experiences with God, and the struggles we have been doing our best to overcome. Tyler and I have been friends since then and it has been an honor to be able to see him grow in his relationship with the Lord. I have been able to see him make so many friends and connections in the last year, and I have seen his ministry start to change peoples lives! During our first conversation together, I have never felt more encouraged, loved, and appreciated and this was just in our first interaction. It is evident in all of Tyler’s conversations that he has received such a big heart and capacity to love from the Lord, and he shares that with anyone who is willing to listen. It’s this heart and unconditional love and encouragement that has impacted my faith in so many ways. Everytime I get to have a conversation with Tyler, it motivates me to go out and do my best to love people better, and maybe one day I will be able to show a complete stranger the same amount of compassion that Tyler showed me within the first few words of our conversation. It has been such a joy and honor to be able to walk beside him on his journey in Fayetteville and I can’t wait to see what he does next!
