origin of boomsauce

It may have been 10 years ago, but I still remember this day in 2011 like it was yesterday. On a humid June day in North Myrtle Beach, SC a word was born BOOMSAUCE. I just finished a long day of work slicing deli meat at Boulineau's (It was required to have a job during Cru Summer Projects--now called "Summer Missions"). Anyway, I was walking through the "Grassy Knoll" (a sandy area with picnic tables) and I smelled some good food being cooked in an apartment nearby. I opened the door to the apartment to find my new buddy Taylor and his roommates chilling and cooking som

e food. Their names escape me now, but I remember using the word "Boomsauce" as an adjective to describe various things and people in the room. Taylor said "What up, Boomsauce?" and then I was like "what does that mean?"....and there you have the origin of Boomsauce.

1 Corinthians 12:28

"Here are some of the parts God has appointed for the church: first are apostles, second are prophets, third are teachers, then those who do miracles, those who have the gift of healing, those who can help others, those who have the gift of leadership, those who speak in unknown languages."
