The last couple of months, I have continued to fall in love with the students and young adults in the Fayettville area! God is teaching me a lot through him and my identity about being open to know him (engage with him In thankfulness) and being lead by his desire for our hearts.

As I’m learning more about him leading me, I have seen all throughout Fayettville a lot of people are wearing the color yellow. That’s the Boomsauce color! When I talk to them, they all have a connection to the church or to some sort of challenge that they are trying to overcome. It’s awesome because for those people, I get to stop and encourage them I get to make them feel at HOME when I get the opportunity to empower them and encourage I . I get to CELEBRATE them and call out who CHRIST made them to be and their TRUE IDENTITY, and how I’ve overcome, and still overcoming and they want to have a life on fire for JESUS like me. It has been incredible to help them understand their purpose and value, and it’s all through something as simple as a color. God can work through anything, in this case he’s working in my life and the lives of those around me through the color yellow. This has been serving as a reminder for me that this is the place where God wants me. This color reminds me that I am where I need to be, and it reminds me of his love more everyday.
Knowing the word of God helps us engage in our local community and bring the light of Christ to people who are scared and feel like they don’t belong.
